From DEPT® in Berlin, working with the whole global eBay team — eBay UK, eBay FR and eBay NA — on a steady cadence of campaign work across web banners, CRM and A.I.-assisted production.
Every brief is a compression exercise: a season, a category, a value-prop — folded down into a glanceable frame. Typography, hierarchy and motion-ready layouts have to work inside tight, system-wide guardrails while still carrying the energy of each market.
Things. People. Love. — compressed into a glanceable frame.
Each market has its own rhythm — seasons, tone, even the way a price reads. The system has to flex without ever losing recognition.
The work moves through three layers: a strict design system inherited from the global brand, a regional layer that adapts type, copy length and imagery per market, and an A.I.-assisted production layer that scales the system across hundreds of weekly assets.
The interesting design problem isn't drawing the banner — it's drawing the system that lets the next 200 banners draw themselves cleanly.
On the CRM side, the same logic moves into the inbox: modular email blocks built to recombine for the next campaign, each one carrying the brand's tone without leaning on it.
